Sushiro Yaechika is a fantastic automatic sushi restaurant directly below Tokyo Station. It’s perfect for a quick and casual sushi meal and children will love it.

Sushiro is a nationwide chain of highly approachable and reasonably priced automatic sushi restaurants. There’s nothing fancy about the sushi here and the use of things like mayonnaise would give high-end sushi chefs a heart attack, but everything here tastes great and the portions are large. If you bring your kids here as their first introduction to sushi, they will be fans for life.

You order from an iPad and the sushi arrives on a conveyor belt and stops right in front of you. It’s a marvel that is sure to delight kids. And the iPads sure take the stress out of ordering. And whatever you do, do not forget the desserts – your kids will thank you.

Best of all, Sushiro has a waiting area out front with gachapon (vending machines) to entertain the kids. So, if you’ve got kids in tow or just crave some fatty and rich sushi, go straight to Sushiro Yaechika.
