Tokyo's luxury hotels are among the best in the world. How do you choose one? Here is my list of the best luxury hotels in Tokyo, all personally inspected.
Mandarin Oriental Tokyo
Tokyo is packed with first-class luxury hotels. Many are clustered around Tokyo Station and in Roppongi. I've inspected all the hotels listed here. I've ranked them based on quality, location, service and price. I should admit that this ranking is fully subjective and any of the first five could have claimed the #1 spot here. These are listed in order of preference. Be sure to check my Where to stay in Tokyo page before deciding where to stay.
