The Royal Park Hotel Ginza 6-Chome is a very good value mid-range hotel on the southeast side of Ginza, within walking distance of the rest of Ginza and Tokyo Station. It’s a stylish, well-run and comfortable hotel with rates lower than most hotels in this class.

I like staying within walking distance of Tokyo Station and The Royal Park Hotel Ginza 6-Chome (fulfills this requirement: it’s not right at the station but it’s totally walkable on a nice day. And, near this hotel is the amazing new Ginza Six shopping and dining complex, which is one of the best such venues in the city. You’ll find tons of good restaurants here, along with some cool shops like the wonderful Tsutaya book shop.

Rooms here are comfortable and well laid out with a bright and cheerful feeling. Common areas are also very pleasant and there’s even an onsen-style bath (plus all rooms have en suite bathrooms, of course). Finally, there are some triples which are a good choice for small groups or families. All in all, this is a solid mid-range choice in Tokyo.
