If you want to try the Japanese capsule hotel experience, the men-only Capsule Hotel Shibuya is a decent choice. It’s a bit far from the station, but it’s cheap.
If you don’t mind a bit of an uphill walk from Shibuya Station (say, 10 or 15 minutes), and you want to save some serious money on accommodation this capsule hotel will probably fit the bill. It’s also good if you find yourself out in Shibuya and need somewhere to crash until the trains start up again in the morning (this is how Japanese salarymen use them).
It’s not the best capsule hotel in Tokyo (try the Capsule Hotel Anshin Oyado Premier Tokyo Shinjuku Station for that), but it will do in a pinch. It’s pretty much your standard capsule hotel, with small capsules and a decent sento (public bath). It’s getting a bit long in the tooth, but it is definitely a bargain!
